Mrs. Witherspoon's 1st grade class teamed up with Miss Kobelak's 5th grade class for a fun Halloween project! The students worked together to create a jack-o-lantern, then write a short story about it. Then students got to share their stories with the whole class when they were done writing. We had a great time!

Ryan Park Families,
Next week is spirit week at Ryan Park. Each day students and staff will be dressing up to support different causes . These include Red Ribbon Week, Zones of Regulation, Bullying Prevention and College Go! On Friday we will have our annual fall parties and costume parade. Students are encouraged to wear orange and black to school. Please send costumes with your students in a separate bag and they will change into them in the afternoon for the costume parade. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
Also, picture retakes will be on Monday 10/28. Please have your student bring in their previous pictures in order to have retakes on Monday. We will also take pictures for any new students and staff at Ryan Park. Picture forms were sent home with all students earlier this week. The attached image provides instruction for ordering pictures online.
Have a great weekend!!
Miss Hartman’s Kindergarten students were asked: What do you want to be when you grow up? We couldn’t take 21 field trips to visit each profession, but we could send our Flat Kindergarteners out into the world to get a firsthand experience.
A huge thank you to Angola Police Department, Angola Fire Department, Cameron Hospital, and the many other professionals from Angola and beyond that opened their doors to us so we could learn all about jobs and helpers in our community!!

The commitment to supporting students never stops with our educators! This evening, many elementary teachers came after school for a study group to strengthen understanding around phonics and decoding. #APride
