The MSD of Steuben County 2024-2025 school calendar was approved two years ago to help families plan for school events, including graduation. However, the Indiana High School Athletic Association moved all of its calendar events back one week for the 2024-2025 school year. Unfortunately, this has caused a conflict between the spring sporting events that our senior students will participate in and our graduation ceremony. We want to make sure that all of our senior students have the opportunity to participate in their extracurricular activities and their graduation ceremony. For this reason, we are rescheduling the class for the 2025 graduation ceremony from Thursday, May 29th 7:00 p.m. to Friday, May 30th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hornet Football Stadium.
On Friday January 31st were are going to host a Hat Day at Ryan Park in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. On the 31st students are allowed to wear a hat to school. $1 donations will be collected by their teacher and donated to LLS. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Despite the frigid weather and a couple of days at home, Ryan Park First Graders still celebrated 101 day today! Students completed a science experiment to figure out if it takes more or less than 101 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, as well as math tasks and writing tasks about things that they would love to have 101 of.
Due to continued forecasted dangerously low temperatures, MSDSC will be closed and a self-paced e-learning day will be implemented for tomorrow Wednesday 1/22/2025. Assignments will be posted by 9 am. Stay Safe and Warm!
