Tomorrow is our first Parent Informational meeting at the Center for Montessori Education at Trine University, Shambaugh Hall, 600 Park Ave., for parents to learn more about our proposed Montessori program--FREE Public Montessori education for grades K-5. The meeting is from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The classroom space at Trine is limited to 24 attendees per session. We encourage those who would like to attend to complete the form at the link below to reserve your space. We will host a repeat session on April 17. You will be contacted if space fills up and we need to reschedule your visit.

Fourth grade at Ryan Park has been learning about weathering and erosion! Our essential question for our experiment is, "Will the Mountain Last Forever?"

The School Smiles dentist is returning to our school in April for dental cleanings. If you missed the dentist’s first visit, there is still time to get your student signed up for our upcoming visit! A new form needs completed each school year to remain in the program, BUT if you have already completed a form for the 2023-24 school year, you do not need to sign-up again. If your 5th-grade students fell in love with an instrument during sessions in school recently, sign up for the band in middle school and get your instrument ready to go. Come to AMS on Tuesday from 5-7 and meet with representatives from Sweetwater to start the rental process.


MSD of Steuben County faculty and staff participated in a professional development day on Friday, Feb 16th. Everyone attended sessions and education clinics about safety, reading, writing, and many other subjects.
